Hello, is anyone here looking to go to Norway for higher studies. Any idea about if the University of Oslo is good for international students? Please share your insights basis the cost of studying, student life and career opportunities. #Norway

The University of Oslo is a public research university located in Oslo, Norway. It is the oldest university in Norway. The Academic Ranking of World Universities ranked it the 58th best university in the world and the third-best in the Nordic countries. At the University of Oslo, there is no tuition fee except a small semester fee of NOK 860 (USD $100). Since they don't charge tuition fees for international students, you are expected to finance your own living expenses during your time here in Norway.  The estimated acceptance rates of institutions in Norway lie between 20% ~ 40%, which means that it is competitive, but the admissions committee are pretty lenient in application reviews. SiO is a very student-friendly uni with around 25 restaurants within the campus and a lot of sporting events and clubs as well!  Career-wise, employers do prefer a lot of graduates from this University. Being one of the best in the country, it is also an internationally recognised university and you wont find difficulty seeking jobs elsewhere!
