The University of Quebec, Montreal (UQAM) is a French-language public research university located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is the largest institution within the Université du Québec system. Established on April 9, 1969, by the government of Quebec, UQAM was formed through the merger of several schools, including the École des beaux-arts de Montréal, a fine arts school, the Collège Sainte-Marie, a classical college, and other smaller institutions.

As of fall 2018, UQAM had a student population of around 40,738, with 3,859 international students representing 95 countries. The university offers 310 distinct programs of study, which are overseen by six faculties—Arts, Education, Communication, Political Science and Law, Science, and Social Science—and one school, the School of Management.

2: How many students are there in each class?

A: There is a maximum of 12 students per class.

3: By choosing the UQAM residences accommodation option, is it possible for participants to arrive beforehand or extend their stay after the duration of a program?

A: Participants have access to their room from 4 PM on the day before the first day of the program until 11 AM on the day after the last day of this same program. It may also be possible to book extra nights accommodation providing the residences still have rooms/studios available.
