Documents Required to Apply to University of Copenhagen

Transportation in the city

The distance between Copenhagen Airport (CPH) and the University of Copenhagen is around 9 kilometers, and the journey duration is approximately 22 minutes. To reach campus trains, buses and taxis are available.


Services offered by the university

Apart from the academic building, which will have classrooms and labs, there are common areas, lounges, and meeting rooms. As well as study areas and quiet zones available with internet access.


Student life at University of Copenhagen

University faculties are provided on five different campuses of the university in the city of Copenhagen.

  • A big library, as well as an academic book store, are within walking distance of the campus to purchase books, compendia, and other scholarly materials.
  • Breakfast, lunch, coffee, cake, and other refreshments are available at canteens and cafés, as well as Friday bars for the weekend.

On campus accomodation at University of Copenhagen

  • Copenhagen University does not provide on-campus accommodation within the University.
  • Students can live in a variety of settings, including dorms, student housing, and private homes and houses. 
  • The university recommends that students share an apartment with their fellows to save money. Norrebro, Osterbro, Vesterbro, Frederiksberg, East Amager, and West Amager are the neighborhoods in Copenhagen's central areas with the most significant student population.
